it has been a while but there is lots of new content up on ex-bones. there are five new drawings and a whole new series of drawings called Head Speaker Kashi Box. HSKB is a collaboration between myself and Justynn Tyme of DaDa Yow!. it is sort of a dada story book. that’s all for now…folks.

EMAIL LIST: I set up a email updates service called Danzig on the Corpses Ashes. Sign up on the miscellaneous page. I have been sending ex-bones related emails to buddies of mine for a while now and thought i’d open it up to everybody. They’ll be approximately every other week and contain links and other funny stuff.

Tomorrow will be the release of an entire series of drawings (other series include: at the office, the bat wing series and the cast series). This will make up for three months of no new ex-bones by overloading your system and putting you into an ex-bones coma.

You May Have Noticed the lack of updates in the past few months. I stopped drawing new comics slightly before ex-bones turned 1 years old. In a surprising twist, the traffic to the site has been increasing dramatically since then. A few drawings have been making their rounds of MySpace and LiveJournal. Because of people stealing my bandwidth without crediting the site, I recently added “ex-bones.com” to all of the images. Ex-Bones has always been a very personal project for me. Can you expect more drawings in the future? That is definite. Will there be regular postings in the future? If I knew, I’d tell you. Thanks for the support.

Ex-Bones Updates: there are some neat new things on ex-bones these days: (as you can see,upper right) you can now search for drawings and news items. You can search by keywords or date or title or even the text in the drawing. Another new feature is an RSS feed containing up-to-date ex-bones drawing and news updates. If you are not familiar with RSS yet, look into it. It is an exciting way to see when your favorite sites/blogs/comics are updating. If you are using Firefox, take advantage of the live RSS bookmarking feature: simply look for and click the orange icon in the lower right-hand corner of the browser and follow instructions to make a bookmark. This bookmark now contains and updates the update information sent out by that site via RSS. so set up your ex-bones aggregation today.

welcome to the tuesday where everyone has a case of the mondays. It was a busy weekend at ex-bones despite the lack of new drawings: everytime you visit ex-bones the content you come here to enjoy is served to you dynamically for maximum…stuff. Also, starting slowly to add different art of mine to the miscellaneous section.
Another thing is two of my favorite strips that I link to on the miscellaneous page have sadly stopped updating regularly. The archived material is still great and recommended reading. Also added two new links.
I can be seen modeling the ex-bones spider t-shirt (from muggins’)
at the ex-bones’ store. They look great and are advertisement free.
If you see someone crossing the street using crutches, stop for him rather than try to run him over. OR HER.

Ex-bones is currently in the process of moving to a new server-home and appologizes in advance for any errors you may recieve in the couple of weeks. The good news is this new home is larger and more fun and the owners don’t even care if we use our outdoor voices indoors.

Ex-bones was updated again today to now include, among other things, a new miscelaneous page. As you also may have noticed parts of the navigation bar are now underlined; this works like regular menu navigation in Windows: alt + s (+ Enter in IE) will bring you to the new miscellaneous page where you can read more about it.

So, gentle reader, since before i can remember my birthday has been on may.28th. However, this year everyone decided my birthday was may.26th. WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED. “happy birthday, congrats! it’s a big one, huh!? so you have big plans for tonight!?” I don’t have the heart to correct everybody in the office … and my grandparents. But then the lies spread, “Oh yeah, I am really going to throw it down tonight!” (i’m working a five hour shift at the library) “I’m going to party so hard I’ll think it’s saturday and it’s my birthday which it is…”
The year of two birthdays is definitely less overwhelming once the initial confusion and self doubt subsided.
