The ex-bones cartoon started as a few doodles on scrap paper shown to friends. Ex-bones now is about the same: a few doodles on scrap paper, scanned, and shown to the world on this website. Even though, it became a web comic, it’s only goal and purpose has always and will always be to entertain the author. This is a project I still like to work on but more sporadically than the three times a week I was publishing in 2005. So expect updates every now and then and enjoy the old ones in between (I know I still do).

Ex-Bones has gone through many changes over the years however the most drastic has been the move from a stand alone comic to being a part of a community of comics. The old version of the ex-bones site (which you can still view here…not updated of course) had a “miscellaneous” page which is reproduced below. There are many inaccuracies in it, but maybe something worth reading. If there is demand enough, I will write an updated FAQ as well.

what’s the deal?

I draw pictures that I get a kick out of. In fact I get such a kick out of them I keep going to my own site to laugh at my own pictures…but that’s not something i tell people about. Some of the drawings are based on actual events and people, but for the most part don’t sweat it.

i don’t get it.

the drawings don’t have agendas and are just silly; if it makes you smile and you don’t know why, then you got it.
